Last Friday, Chris Cook, Olympic and double Commonwealth Gold medallist swimmer came into school to work with the year 8’s. His visit coincided with an initiative that Greenfield School have signed up for that uses sport as a tool to motivate and inspire 11-16 year olds. He led an assembly on inspiration and dreams. He then worked with a group of select pupils from 8KMP period 1 & 2. The pupils who were involved had a fantastic day involving theoretical and practical activities, whereby working to realise Chris’s “six keys to success’”, looking at belief, determination, hard-work, belonging, people skills and time management.
