Last week three students and two teachers from Greenfield Community College took part in a Department for Education and British Council initiative to set up exchange schools between England and Normandy in France. Students had an amazing few days between workshops, seminars and visiting the school itself, Collège Eugène Varlin in Le Havre. They used their knowledge and practical skills to set up links from common ground between the two schools. They practiced their French skills and formed remarkable links with their new exchange partners. These foundations will be passed on to future students to continue to forge links with our new partner school Collège Eugène Varlin and experience how life is in a foreign country.
