Greenfield Arts are excited to be hosting the Anne Frank Outreach exhibition at Greenfield Community College – Sunnydale Campus and Aycliffe Site, in The Greenfield Gallery. This exhibition, which is a travelling outreach exhibition and has come especially to Greenfield Community College from the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam, will include photographs and text. This is a great opportunity for our students to see the exhibition and explore the Second World War, prejudice, compassion and respect.
Our Sunnydale Campus have recently hosted the exhibition first and students from both campuses have the opportunity to train as Ambassadors for the exhibition. They are working with students to create interpretation work that will be exhibited in its last week of display, at Greenfield Arts in January. Local primary schools have visited the exhibition and worked with an artist to create individual responses which will help them interpret the exhibition. This will also be displayed in its final week at Greenfield Arts.
From the 7th – 27th January the exhibition will be open to the public and we will also be hosting a celebration of all the work the Ambassadors have achieved on Holocaust Memorial Day Wednesday 27th January at The Greenfield Gallery and live performance of The Tin Ring. To find out more about the exhibition or to book a group, please contact Greenfield Arts on 01325 379048 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
