The Year 9 EBACC GCSE Geographers took off (literally!) to explore the Upper course of the River Tees on Tuesday 16th April. More photos here. The GCSE groups visited the source of the Tees and observed V shaped valleys and vertical erosion before walking along the watershed and across to the magnificent High Force waterfall. The group had a great day and completed work that will fully support their Geography GCSE core knowledge whilst also providing them (and us!) with some vivid and humorous memories including flying clip boards, deep mud, lost trainers and what felt like hurricane force winds! A great experience for all who came – Well done Year 9!
